Bombay Sapphire Gin

Description: Bombay Sapphire Gin was launched in 1987 and is being distributed by Bacardi. Bombay Sapphire Gin is made from a recipe that contains 10 different ingredients: almond, lemon shells, liquorice, juniper berries, orange rice, angelica root, coriander, kassia cinnamon, cubeb pepper and paradise seeds.

Bombay Sapphire Gin is distilled 3 times in a "carterhead" still, where the alcohol vapors pass through a mask/basket containing the 10 ingredients to get even more flavors and aromas. This gives a lighter and more 'flowery' gin than the gin distilled using the more common copper still. Finally, water from Lake Vyrnwy is added, so the alcohol strength of Bombay Sapphire Gin will be 40%. Bombay Sapphire Gin is one of the most popular gin in Denmark and is very good in drinks such as gin & tonic or Tom Collins.
