The idea for the perhaps strangest candy name in the world arose when Danmarks Radio, in connection with a competition in a children's broadcast (the summer holiday bus), had found a doll that they called 'Sismofytdukke'. It was in the early 1970s. The candy became a success from the start, and over the years has preserved its appearance, form and taste.
