Description: Light Coloured Syrup is the classic syrup with a nice light colour and a caramel-like taste. Perfectly suited to sweets, cookies, desserts, gravy, meat dishes etc.
Syrup (sugar syrup) is obtained as a by-product when producing white sugar from beet or cane sugar in a sugar refinery. Syrup is a viscous liquid sugar solution in which part of the sugar is broken down into glucose (grape sugar) and fructose (fruit sugar). The combination of the different sugars prevents crystallization and the very high sugar content of approx. 80% guarantee long durability.
Syrups are produced in various grades in terms of colour and taste, which are derived from smaller quantities of mineral salts and other substances found naturally in the raw materials. Each quality is tailored to its specific scope. Syrup as a product is particularly useful for baking, but is also used for confectionery products.
In addition to giving a sweet taste, syrup has some functional benefits: It promotes fermentation in bread, gives a fine crust on the bread, keeps the bread juicy and fresh longer and is also an excellent flavour and flavour enhancer in various food dishes.
The syrup bottle is transparent, which makes it easy to dispense and has a practical drip-free lid.
