Description: The classic "Gammel Dansk" Bitter Dram was for the first time over the merchant's counter in 1964. It has remained true to the original in taste and appearance. The whole secret of the special bitter taste lies in the mixing ratio of the 29 different spices and herbs from all over the world - angelica root, nutmeg, anise, ginger and currant berries. You may not directly taste what the individual ingredients make for the taste. But you would probably quickly taste if one of the spices was missing. The taste is pleasant bitterness with a good long spicy finish. The colour is copper.
