Your payment

Your order will only be processed after your payment has been received by NORDIC EXPAT SHOP. You can find more information about the various payment methods below.

iDEAL, SOFORT & giropay

If you have access to internet banking, you can choose to pay using iDEAL, SOFORT and giropay. iDEAL, SOFORT and giropay are the easiest ways of paying online. You can pay quickly, easily and securely and on top of that, payments to NORDIC EXPAT SHOP when using iDEAL, SOFORT and giropay are completely free of charge. As soon as you have paid, your order will be processed immediately and will be ready for shipment within three (3) business days.

  • Select "IDEAL, SOFORT or giropay" as payment method in the checkout process.
  • You will be redirected to IDEAL, SOFORT or giropay, where you have to log into your account to confirm the purchase.
  • There are no transaction costs.
  • Your order will be processed immediately.

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro & American Express) & PayPal

With credit card & Paypal you can pay quickly and 100% securely using our highly secure payment page, which is offered by Stripe. Any credit card information is subsequently encrypted and will only be transferred through a secure SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer). The advantage of payments by credit card and PayPal are that they have the highest levels of security. Your data is safeguarded very strictly and will never be stored anywhere. On top of that, payments via credit card and PayPal orders will be processed immediately. Your order will be ready for shipment within three (3) business days.

Payment process Credit Card

  • Select "Pay by Card" as payment method in the checkout process.
  • Enter your card number, expiration date and security code to complete the payment.
  • Once you have placed your order, the billing amount will be reserved on your credit card and you will receive an order confirmation email.
  • We will charge your credit card once we ship your order.

Please note:

  •  If we can’t approve your card, we won’t charge your account. If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service or your credit card company.

Safety check:

  • In some cases, we might have to check your credit card for safety reasons. We will send you an email asking for a colour copy of the front and back side of your credit card (the credit card number and owner’s name must be visible). We will also need a copy of a valid ID (official identity card, passport or drivers license).
  • Please send us these copies per email.

Payment process Paypal

  • Select "PayPal" as payment method in the checkout process.
  • You will be redirected to PayPal, where you have to log into your account to confirm the purchase.
  • There are no transaction costs.
  • Your order will be processed immediately.

If you don't complete the payment right away, your order will be saved and you can do so later on. Simply go to "My orders" in your customer account, select the order and click "Not paid yet - pay now". We will process your order as soon as you have confirmed the payment.

You can also use PayPal when ordering on the phone or per email. Let us know on the phone or in your ordering email and we will send you a PayPal payment link. 

Payment process Paypal Express

  • Add your items to the shopping basket.
  • Select "PayPal Express" as payment method in the checkout process.
  • You will be redirected to PayPal Express, where you have to log into your account to confirm the purchase.
  • All required billing and delivery information will be transferred automatically and filled into our order form, so you don't have to re-type your addresses.
  • If you want your order delivered to a different address, you can change it in the last step of the checkout process on the order confirmation page.
  • Please check all your details on the overview page before confirming your order.
  • Your order will be processed immediately.
  • There are no transaction costs.

Bank transfers

A bank transfer means that you (after placing an order) will manually transfer the amount on the invoice to our bank account. In this case you should take into account a transfer time of 1 to 5 business days. You should also mention with your bank transfer the order number, which is included in your order confirmation. After receiving your payment, NORDIC EXPAT SHOP will immediately process your order and have it ready for shipment within three (3) business days.

We will provide the information concerning bank transfers. A bank transfer from one country to another can only be done by using IBAN and BIC (also known as SWIFT address). IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is an international standardised bank account number to facilitate international bank transfers, while BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is a standardised code that indicates to which bank the payment must be transferred. However, the BIC is only necessary to execute payments within Europe.

To transfer money by using IBAN and BIC, you will need certain accounts. For more information, it would be the best to contact your own bank.
